About the Production
Some Stories Never Stop Speaking.
What if Shakespeare's most famous lovers could share the same stage?
Frozen Thoughts: A Shakespearean Song Cycle reimagines the Bard's unforgettable relationships through original music, intimate theatrical storytelling, and a contemporary perspective on love in all its forms.
From the devotion of Romeo and Juliet and the witty courtship of Beatrice and Benedick to the ambition of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth and the jealousy that consumes Othello, familiar characters and stories find unexpected connections.
Blending Shakespeare's language with an original musical-theatre score, Frozen Thoughts explores how love can inspire courage, fuel rivalry, invite vulnerability, and change everything.
The words may be centuries old. The feelings are anything but.
