Ferrell Studios Community Theatre is a nonprofit organization based in Metuchen, New Jersey, dedicated to producing bold theatrical works and providing accessible performing arts education across Central New Jersey.

Ferrell Studios Community Theatre cultivates a thriving ecosystem for emerging and established theatre artists that promotes artistic growth, creative expression, and community-building.

We aim to produce bold and timely work that fosters a conversation between the stage and the world around us and that challenges, inspires, and connects diverse audiences through shared storytelling.

Ferrell Studios Community Theatre is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing exceptional performing arts education and producing impactful theatrical experiences for children, teens, young adults, and the broader community.

Who We arE

Centered in Metuchen, NJ, we bring together and celebrate writers, directors, choreographers, instrumentalists, performers, teaching artists, and creative enthusiasts from across New Jersey and beyond.

What We Do

Ferrell Studios Community Theatre produces mainstage plays and musicals, original works festivals, cabaret performances, and special events throughout the year for the local community and beyond. Our educational offerings include in-person classes and summer camps in acting, musical theatre, and more.

Land Acknowledgement

Ferrell Studios operates on the ancestral land of the Munsee Lenape and Lenapehoking People, who have stewarded this land throughout the generations.

We recognize the historic Indigenous communities in New Jersey, Indigenous individuals and communities who live here now, and those who were forcibly removed from their homelands. In offering this land acknowledgement, while just a first step, we affirm Indigenous sovereignty, history and experiences.
