ABOUT “OUR TIME: 4TH ANNUAL ONE ACT PLAY FESTIVAL”

Ferrell Studios proudly presents the 4th Annual Play Festival—a dynamic celebration of
bold, original work from local artists, featuring 21 Chump Street by Lin Manuel Miranda. This year’s festival spotlights the creativity of emerging playwrights, directors, and performers from our community, bringing fresh stories to life on stage. Join us in championing the voices shaping the next generation of
theatre. All rehearsals and performances will take place in Metuchen, NJ.

AUDITIONS AND CALLBACKS

Auditions (Self-Tape Only): Due Sunday, October 12, 2025 at 11:59pm

Callbacks (By Invitation Only): TBD (Week of October 13)
Callbacks will be held in-person at mignolo (272 Lake Ave Metuchen, NJ)

WHAT TO PREPARE

Acting Audition: Please submit a one minute monologue of your choice.

Vocal Audition: If you would also like to be considered for 21 Chump Street, please also submit a 32 bar cut of a contemporary musical theatre piece, or a song from the show.

REHEARSALS

Rehearsals take place weekday evenings and some weekend afternoons in and around Metuchen, NJ. A schedule will be created and released after casting.

TECH AND PERFORMANCES

Location: mignolo (Metuchen, NJ)

Tech: Wednesday, December 10-Friday, December 12, 2025 (6pm-10pm)

Performances: December 13, 2025 (Call Time: 12pm, Curtain: 2pm; Call Time: 6pm, Curtain: 8pm)

Tech and performances will take place at mignolo (Metuchen, NJ).

Note: Ferrell Studios is a small community theater organization based in Metuchen, NJ. this is a non-equity, non-paid production. All performers must be 18 or older at the time of auditions.
