Live Acting Classes

  • Young performers will dive into the world of acting through fun, themed weekly lessons led by a professional teaching artist. In this non-sequential class, students explore voice, body, and imagination while developing essential skills like expression, collaboration, and character building. Each session introduces a new acting concept—like identity, storytelling, or improvisation—through playful activities designed to inspire creativity, spark self-discovery, and lay the foundation for lifelong confidence on and off the stage.

  • This engaging weekly acting class introduces students ages 9–12 to the exciting world of performance—on stage and on screen! Guided by industry professionals, students will develop essential acting techniques through improv, script work, games, and dynamic exercises.

    Each class explores a new topic—from identity and characterization to blocking and ensemble work—so students can join any week and begin building their acting skills. Alongside technical development, students grow in confidence, focus, and collaboration, gaining tools that extend far beyond the performance space.

  • In this drop-in style acting class, students ages 12–16 explore the core techniques of modern acting while connecting their own identities to the characters they create. Led by an experienced director and teaching artist, each week dives into a new theme—from point-of-view and storytelling to blocking, improvisation, and scene study. In this beginner-friendly course, young performers explore the art of on-camera acting through interactive lessons in scene study, audition prep, and professional film techniques. Guided by an experienced film actor, students will learn how to express authentic emotions, connect with the camera, and develop characters that shine on screen.

    Each week focuses on a new film acting skill—from hitting your mark to analyzing a script—all while building confidence, creativity, and communication skills that extend far beyond the frame.

  • In this intensive and inspiring course, teen actors ages 13–18 will learn how to craft grounded, compelling performances for the camera. Guided by an experienced on-camera actor, students will explore the technical and emotional nuances of screen acting—from eyelines and stillness to scene study and truthful embodiment.

    Each week offers structured training in professional film acting techniques while building life skills like focus, empathy, confidence, and creative expression. Students will engage in hands-on activities, partner work, and personalized coaching, culminating in a full scene performance in a simulated audition format.
